Terms of Service
Effective date: August 6, 2026
Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or signing in to ReleaseCat, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
The service
ReleaseCat is a dashboard for managing App Store Connect and Google Play listings. It lets you view and edit store metadata, localizations, release notes, and reviews for your iOS and Android apps, and publish those changes to the stores through their official APIs.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, so your email account is the key to your ReleaseCat account. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure, and for everything that happens under your ReleaseCat account.
Your store credentials and content
You keep full ownership of your apps, your store listings, and the credentials you connect. By connecting App Store Connect, Google Play, or GitHub credentials, you give ReleaseCat permission to call those APIs on your behalf to provide the service.
You confirm that you are authorized to use the credentials you connect, and that acting through them does not violate your agreements with Apple, Google, or GitHub.
Acceptable use
When using ReleaseCat, you agree not to:
- Access accounts, apps, or data that are not yours.
- Use the service to publish content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
- Probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or attempt to bypass its security measures.
- Resell or provide the service to third parties without our agreement.
Third-party services
ReleaseCat works on top of Apple App Store Connect, the Google Play Developer API, GitHub, and OpenAI. Your use of those services through ReleaseCat is also governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or for decisions they make, such as app review outcomes.
AI features
AI-generated translations and drafts are suggestions, not guarantees. Review them before publishing. You are responsible for everything you publish to the stores through ReleaseCat, including content produced with AI assistance.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReleaseCat and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you use the service for free.
Termination
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk. On termination, we delete your stored credentials.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the effective date above. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, that means you accept the updated terms.
